Amazing Sculptures Made out of Cardboard by Chris Gilmour - Amazing Art


Chris Gilmour was born in Stockport, UK (1973), but now calls Udine, Italy home. Using only cardboard and glue, Chris creates incredible sculptures that do not use any supporting structures or wooden/metal frames. Everything you see is 100% cardbaord. His medium of choice is plentiful, cheap and lightweight.
Guido Bartorelli summarizes Gilmour’s work as follows:

Gilmour’s work includes stunning virtuoso life-size objects, as well as cruder and more essential reproductions, sometimes left at a stage that calls to mind drafts or models. These are however all based on objects we have all experienced first hand- a typewriter, a car, a bicycle, a wheelchair.

A Human Eye which is a Natural device having 576 Megapixels, the technical breakdown of megapixels is as follows:

Consider a view in front of you that is 90 degrees by 90 degrees, like looking through an open window at a scene. The number of pixels would be 90 degrees * 60 arc-minutes/degree * 1/0.3 * 90 * 60 * 1/0.3 = 324,000,000 pixels (324 megapixels).

Gate Tower Building in Osaka Japan - Amazing Places


One of the most curious building in Japan is the Gate Tower Building in Osaka, Japan. The 5th, 6th and 7th floors of this 16-story office building is occupied by an express highway - passing right through the building. On the building's floor information board on the ground floor, the tenants for the three floors are listed as the Hanshin Expressway. You can’t alight there tough as the elevator skips from the 4th floor to straight to the 8th.



The Gate Tower Building is actually the result of an unusual compromise between the land owner and the Japanese government.

New concept for double-decker Trams for Stockholm City 2025


Three designers- Vanessa Sattele, Patrik Pettersson & Fredrik Nilsson presented a unique concept double decker Tram design for a project sponsored by Alstom which required them to design a Tram for Stockholm City for the year 2025. Designed in a Scandinavian way, this Tram is simple, spacious and extremely user friendly.

MOSS COVERED WATERFALL IN ROMANIA -Amazing Places


this is the Bigar Cascade Falls in Carass Severin, Romania at the 45th parallel (45° 0′ 15.28″ N 21° 57′ 36.41″ E). The dramatic moss-covered falls are situated in the forests of the Anina Mountains and is formed by an underground water spring that spills into the Minis River.

The Amazing Car - Pagani C9 Huayra

Zondas successor, the new supercar from Italo-Argentinian designer Horacio Pagani is the stunning Pagani C9 Huayra. Equipped with a biturbo V12 engine provided by AMG, the Huayra has 700 hp and 737lb ft of torque, Mercedes-Benz "provided" another cool detail to Pagani, the gull-wing-inspired doors by the now rival SLS.

The Wave, Arizona - Amazing Places

The Wave is a sandstone rock formation located in the United States of America near the Arizona and Utah border on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes, in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, on the Colorado Plateau. It is famous among hikers and photographers for its colorful, undulating forms, and the rugged, trackless hike required to reach it. “The Wave” consists of intersecting U-shaped troughs that have been eroded into Navajo Sandstone of Jurassic age.
